A team of young and vibrant boys and girls are on an unique mission to collect clothes, so that they can bring happiness and smiles on the faces of poor little kids on the slums in and around Kolkata city.
Durga Puja is the biggest festival and very important festival in Eastern India in particular Kolkata. Durga Puja here means happiness, food, sweets and new clothes, but many couldn’t afford to have new clothes during the festive season. It is with this thought a young team of boys and girls and their organisation A Little Contribution or ALC has plunged into a huge new clothes collection drive.
We, at A Little Contribution Welfare Society (Registered under West Bengal Societies Registration Act, XXVI of 1961 with Regd. No. of 92661 of the year 2012-2013) invite all of you and your friends to donate new clothes for the kids who are homeless, enjoyment-deprived and mostly saddened during this festive season.
Age group-5-12 years of Age
Note: ONLY medium to good quality NEW clothes will be accepted (after all they are humans, not animals to be given with anything possible).
Date of collection: 23rd May to 20th September
IF you’re unable to drop in the clothes for the kids or are busy at work, you can also drop in the amount of money you wanted to buy the clothes with, and email us the details (no. of clothes, rate on which each cloth to be bought, etc) at firstname.lastname@example.org, and send the money to our bank.
